There are many aspects of the Citizens Advice Bureau of Western Australia Inc. (CABWA)  site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, in making an enquiry you are required to submit personally identifiable and or contactable information. CABWA seeks to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which govern the collection, use and storage of personal information of all people who interact with CABWA

CABWA may collect information including personal information to help us deliver and improve our services as a community legal centre. We also use this information for funding, statistical, reporting, and compliance purposes. Your responses help us provide the most appropriate assistance. You are not required to provide this information, but if you choose not to, we may be limited in how much we can help.

Use of your non-personal information

For each visitor to reach the site, we  collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalised content to you while you are at this site.
